Our Practice Areas & Services
Arbitration & ADR
Broderick Bozimo & Company has broad experience in successfully navigating complex and high-value commercial arbitrations. We regularly act on behalf of companies and high-net-worth individuals under major institutional arbitration rules and in ad-hoc arbitration. Our lawyers are also experienced in other methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution, including Mediation.
Commercial litigation forms a significant part of our practice. We have extensive experience in litigating commercial disputes arising from contract breaches, securities, professional negligence, directors’ and officers’ liability, employment agreements, and breach of fiduciary duty. Our clients include public and private corporations in a wide cross-section of industries.
We frequently appear in the Supreme Court of Nigeria and the Court of Appeal. As a result, our lawyers have the experience and expertise required to attack and defend judgments at all levels. We bring exceptional written and oral advocacy to bear on our cases, backed by a deep understanding of the evidence, careful legal research and reasoning, and a knack for presenting complex facts and principles simply and persuasively.
In suits ranging from judicial review and constitutional challenges to implementing regulatory measures, our lawyers appear regularly before courts in administrative disputes involving government and their agencies. Having represented both government entities and private parties against governments, we are uniquely poised to assist clients in matters of administrative law.
We have extensive experience in election administrative matters and have successfully litigated numerous election contests at all levels, including the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
While we do not undertake significant transactional work, we do occasionally, at our clients’ request, undertake commercial advisory and contractual work.
