We advised an International Development Agency on the Nigerian business environment provided a Comprehensive Review of the Institutional, Regulatory, Legislative and Associated Instruments affecting Businesses in Nigeria. The Report forms the framework for the work of the National Assembly Business Environment Roundtable (NASSBER).

Our lawyers served as members of a National Assembly Technical Advisory Committee for the Companies and Allied Matters Bill and the Investment And Securities Bill. The Committee’s work resulted in the enactment of the Companies and Allied Maters Act 2020.

Our lawyers served as members of the Drafting Committee for Nigeria’s Arbitration and Mediation Bill, pending in the National Assembly. The House of Representatives adopted the Committee’s draft. The Bill now awaits the Senate’s concurrence of its provisions.

We provided the Legal Due Diligence to a Nigerian State Government to identify material issues arising from a private entity’s acquisition of the State’s independent power project.
