Isaiah Bozimo, Partner at Broderick Bozimo & Company, will serve as a panellist to discuss the “Challenges of Organising Remote Proceedings” as part of the Rising Arbitrators Initiative’s Webinar on the topic of “Navigating the Promise and Perils of Your First Appointments”.
The Panel will discuss thorny issues that practitioners receiving their first arbitrator appointments will undoubtedly face – irrespective on their location. These issues include handling institutional vs. ad hoc arbitrations, dealing with inexperienced counsel and non-participating respondents, and the challenges of organising remote proceedings. The webinar will take place on Thursday, 22 April 2021, from 3:30 – 4:30 pm EAT (1:30 – 2:30 pm WAT/London | 2:30 – 3:30 pm CAT/Paris | 8:30 – 9:30 am NYC), and is hosted by the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration.
